This month Shocks is here with an exclusive mix he describes as speakers repeated, guitar shreds, distorted sounds with low voices (they say almost nothing), basses and snare drums that come in and fade out, psychedelic effects, distorted space echoes...and more..... Pure Bliss!!!!
Shocks is the work of a northern Italian Musician DJ/producer and music researcher. While it is fundamentally simple in approach, the dynamic maintains a deceivingly complex harmony and disharmony rendering a visceral, sometimes violent listening experience. Waves of feedback, distortion, frantic guitar noodling, vocal collage and field recordings soar like an ominous cloud over primitive, hedonistic rhythms.
